We call Deva when he played for NALANDA. Versatile opener, he starts playing his strokes from the very first ball.I used to see him when he's at his best with stalwarts like bandu ayya, Anura Ranasinghe, lalith kaluperuma, Susantha Karunaratne in NALANDA and BRC. Very unfortunately he made this wrong decision on joining with rebels. Wonderful opener wicket keeper and batsman. Very humble personality and handsome man. We missed all rebels due to poor judgment of their own. Good luck Deva.

Hemantha Devapriya was a very good opening batsman n a good wicket keeper. But Rohan Jayasejara was a much better batsman n an effective wicket keeper at that period.
